Wraparound Academic, Behavior & Advocacy Support
Learning a new skill is more than rote memorization; it requires an individualized approach for neurotypical and neurodiverse learners. With the new wave of neuroscience at our doorstop, we know the brain has the ability to learn information in a multitude of ways. Our special education teachers help students with all types of learning differences, teaching your child how to effectively use new learning tools that fit their unique learning style. Whether your child has an IEP, is in the process of getting one or just needs a tutor with a highly specialized skill set, we've got you covered.
All behavior is a form of communication. The questions is: what is your child trying to say? We help your family create new communication tools that work for your child's individual social-thinking and self-regulation behaviors. Working with tantrums and refusal are our specialties. Trained in Functional Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavior Supports, our Behavior Tutors help you create an individual support plan tailored to your family's needs. Then we teach you how to use it effectively, making sure to guide you each step of the way while implementing a system that works to serve the whole family as a complete unit.
Combining our Special Education Teaching with our Legal Background, we're the perfect fit to help you learn how to navigate the policies of the school system. Whether you're in need of a 504 Plan, an IEP, or Regional Center Support, our Advocates work with you, side by side, preparing for and attending meeting with the school and the state. Our goal: collaboration to ensure that your child gets the services and supports needed to be successful, in and out of the classroom.
